'Toy Story 4' spoilers: Upcoming animated movie sequel to feature Woody and Bo Peep's love story

(Facebook/Toy Story)"Toy Story 4" will feature the return of Bo Peep and her love story with Woody.

While Bo Peep was not part of the adventures of the rest of Andy's toys in "Toy Story 3," it is said that she will be the main focus in the highly anticipated sequel of the said Disney/Pixar animated movie, "Toy Story 4," as her love story with Woody will be the main focus of the sequel.

There is no denying that "Toy Story 4" is one of the most-anticipated movie sequels. While it's true that the movie's release date has been pushed back as it was swapped with that of another Disney/Pixar upcoming sequel, "The Incredibles 2," this doesn't stop the fans from talking about how its story may pan out. However, among the many rumors attached to "Toy Story 4," one that has lingered for quite a while now is that it will shed light on why Bo Peep was not seen in "Toy Story 3" and feature her return.

According to the latest reports, "Toy Story 4" will cast the spotlight on Bo Peep, the porcelain shepherd girl attached to the lamp of Andy. In the past two "Toy Story" movies, the character served as Woody's love interest. However, without much explanation, the character failed to appear in "Toy Story 3," prompting the fans to wonder what might have happened to her. Whether she was really sold, just some fans suspect, this can finally be confirmed when "Toy Story 4" arrives.

"It's a love story with Woody and — and this is news — Bo Peep," said Disney Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter to CNBC in August 2015 as he hinted on what the fans can expect from the highly anticipated sequel to one of the most popular films Disney/Pixar has ever made.

Apart from casting the spotlight on the love story of Woody and Bo Peep, it is also rumored that "Toy Story 4" will also feature Andy being instrumental in the reconciliation of his parents. Avid "Toy Story" fans know too well that Andy's dad has never been featured in the movie, prompting some to believe that his parents are separated. However, it is said that Andy's family will finally be complete in "Toy Story 4" through Andy and his toys.

"Toy Story 4" is slated for a June 2019 release.
