After making a successful debut last September, Cadillac has now revealed pricing and availability for the 2017 XT5. Cadillac has outlined trim levels for the luxury crossover and the some of the standard features customers can expect when it arrives at dealers this April 2016.

"The arrival of this sophisticated new crossover positions Cadillac well, as XT5 enters the most popular segment in the global luxury market. It's pivotal to our ongoing growth, which is why we've developed XT5 from the inside out to provide customers more space, more technology, more luxury and more efficiency," said Johan de Nysschen, Cadillac President.

The 2017 Cadillac XT5 will be offered in four trim levels – the base XT5, Luxury, Premium and the all-new Platinum. Prices start at $38,995 for the standard XT5, while pricing for the top-tier Platinum trim begins at $62,500. There will also be an additional $995 destination charge.

Customers will also be able to choose from seven exterior colors and seven interior themes, including carbon fiber, aluminum and genuine wood trims.

Some of the standard exterior features include LED daytime running lamps, heated and adjustable outside mirrors, rear power lift gate and front and rear intermittent wipers. The base XT5 trim comes standard with 18-inch wheels.

Some of the standard interior features include USB ports, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity, a rear vision camera, a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 5.7-inch color display and an eight-speaker Bose audio system. Specific features can be upgraded depending on the trim level.

The Platinum trim comes standard with an all-wheel drive system, 20-inch Sterling Silver wheels, a rear camera mirror, surround vision and a head-up display.

The 2017 Cadillac XT5 will be powered by the new 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. While it is the same engine seen in the ATS, CTS and CT6 sedans, it has been redesigned and equipped with Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation and Start/Stop technologies. The engine is mated to the new eight-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift.

The 2017 Cadillac XT5 is now available to order at authorized dealers. First deliveries will arrive by early-April 2016.
