Apple iPad news: iPad Pro and iPad Mini tipped to be coming soon from Apple

There is no denying the strength in revenue tech giant, Apple, has been experiencing in the first half of 2015. Recently, the company published an official statement on their website revealing that Apple has earned more or less $3 billion more than what they earned in the same quarter last year.

In the same report, Tim Cook, Apple's current CEO, explains how the increase in revenue is partly owed to a spike in iPhone and Mac products. He said, "We had an amazing quarter, with iPhone revenue up 59 percent over last year, strong sales of Mac, all-time record revenue from services, driven by the App Store, and a great start for Apple Watch."

The Q3 2015 financial results conference that followed the press release, however, showed that while most of Apple products have increased in sales, Apple's iPad's sales have decreased by 23 percent year over year. Despite the decline, rumors persist that Apple is still planning to release, not one, but three more tablet devices in the next coming months, leaving people wondering whether or not the new iPads would signal a revival of interest in Apple's flagship tablets.

Among the rumored upcoming offerings is the iPad Mini 4. According to an article by Macrumors.com, the new iPad Mini is expected to be lighter and thinner than the iPad Air 2. It is rumored to clock in at 7.9-inches and would supposedly be powered by an A9 processor.

The most exciting unconfirmed feature for the fourth generation Mini however is the Split View Multitasking feature, similar to that of the more expensive iPad Air 2. It is expected to be released by September or October of this year.

On the other hand, Apple enthusiasts are convinced that the rumored iPad Pro would be the device that would bolster the tablet sales for Apple. According to Appleinsider.com, the iPad Pro would measure 12.9 inches and like the iPad Mini 4, it would be powered by an A9 processor. It could also be equipped with a stylus and a USB 3.0 port.

Like the Mini 4, rumors hint that the new tablet would be available by September and October 2015.
