Apple Watch 2 release date in September with other Apple devices

(Apple)The current Apple Watch with different strap variants. Rumor has it that the Apple Watch 2 will be launched in September together with the iPhone 7 and the 2016 macBook Pro.

Aside from the MacBook Pro 2016 and iPhone 7 that were both never mentioned at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference, another device that was also a no-show in the event is the Apple Watch 2. Some have thought that the idea of a sequel for the watch might have been already scrapped by Apple, but there are speculations that the rumored timepiece will be unveiled in September, together with the two earlier mentioned devices.

Released April of last year, the Apple Watch instantly became a favorite among Apple users with all the apps that goes with it aside from just telling time. However, there are recent reports that state that the smartwatch market has been struggling commercially and Apple was the one that hit the hardest. Albeit the debacle in recent sales, the company is still the top choice among users against its competitors.

Moreover, there are rumors that have been going around about the specs of the watch. Reports suggest that aside the current variants of the Apple Watch, the company is said to be trying new materials to be used in the upcoming wearable and rumor has it that Apple is considering precious and rare metals such as palladium and platinum. Hence, if Apple will be pushing through with such, expect a variant of the Apple Watch 2 that could go as high as $10,000.

The next generation timepiece is said to don a camera feature which is suitable for selfies, FaceTime and the like. It was previously reported that the company has filed for a patent for the watch's shooter which was published June of this year. The patent states that the camera may be placed anywhere within the watch and added that later models of the device may contain more than one camera.

In addition, it's more likely that the watch will be pre-installed with the recently released watchOS 3, not to mention a new app dubbed as "Breathe" which consist of breathing exercises that can be done whenever the wearer of the watch desires.

As reported earlier, Apple fanatics are expecting that the Apple Watch 2 will be finally unveiled sometime in September.
