The "Attack on Titan" videogame is set to see the light of the day soon. In fact, the trailer for the new videogame has just been released, featuring snippets of the game's narrative.
Titled "Attack on Titan: Escape From the Brink of Death," the new game focuses on an entirely new story that features Eren and his Survey Corps comrades. Based on the trailer, it looks like the new game will be action-packed as it puts the gamer in the shoes of one of the members of the Survey Corps.
In the game, the player will explore a castle located outside the defensive walls of humanity. However, when he loses his way and gets separated from the other corps members, he has to fight the Titans to be able to find his way back to his allies. Otherwise, he will not be able to escape the dingy castle he is in.
Meanwhile, Funimation recently dropped a new synopsis for the next season of the "Attack on Titan" TV series, which is slated for release in April. The synopsis reads: "Eren Jaeger swore to wipe out every last Titan, but in a battle for his life he wound up becoming the thing he hates most. With his new powers, he fights for humanity's freedom facing the monsters that threaten his home. After a bittersweet victory against the Female Titan, Eren finds no time to rest — a horde of Titans is approaching Wall Rose and the battle for humanity continues!"
The synopsis hints that while Eren emerged victorious in his fight against a female Titan in the previous season, he will not have much time to rest in the upcoming season as he and his company need to brace themselves for their impending battle against the new group of Titans approaching the Wall Rose.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 is set to return on Saturday, April 1, on Funimation. The network has yet to announce the air time of the new series.
