Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 comes with a selfie mode, improved quality photos
Fujifilm has unveiled their newest instant camera, the Instax Mini 70. The new model joins Fujifilm's instant cameras that produce credit card size photos or 2x3-inch prints.
According to Fujifilm.com, the new instant camera features a modern and stylish design. It comes in three colors -- moon white, canary yellow and island blue. Fujifilm claims that the new camera appeals to all demographics and can also be treated as a fashion statement.
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 features the new "auto exposure control" feature that significantly improves the quality of the photos. With this new feature, there is no need for the user to configure any settings. The Instax Mini 70 will automatically detect the amount of ambient lighting and will adjust the shutter speed and flash accordingly. All the user needs to do is press the shutter button and the camera will adjust itself and capture images with amazing clarity. Unlike previous models, the Instax Mini 70 can produce beautiful images, even in low light conditions.
The Instax Mini 70 also features several versatile shooting modes, including a new Selfie mode.
The instant camera is equipped with a small selfie mirror beside the lens. This is to allow users to check the frame composition and their angles before taking a selfie. After pressing the selfie button, the camera will automatically adjust the focal length and brightness for optimal selfie shots.
Fujifilm's newest instant camera also has a self-timer that can be used to take group shots. The Macro shooting mode also takes photos of subjects that are at least 30cm in size. Lastly, the Landscape mode allows users to capture beautiful and vast sceneries.
Other features of the camera include a tripod mount, an improved viewfinder and automatic flash.
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 will be released on Oct. 23 for $140. The instant camera uses the standard Instax Mini film that costs $20 for a pack of 20 shots.
