The iconic brand Kodak is resurrecting from the dead as it partners with Bullit Group to launch a range of Android-powered smartphones at CES 2015. The team promises to offer best-in-class image management software with innovative design and UI.

"Delivering simplicity without compromise, these devices will address a segment of the mobile device market that has been poorly served to date. By giving customers easy access to printing and sharing services while still offering the latest Android OS and features found on high-end smartphones, we will appeal to a large audience of users who value ease of use and stylish design as highly as they value functionality," said Oliver Schulte, CEO Bullitt Mobile.

Kodak and Bullit Group are targeting not only high-end smartphone users, but would like to reach out to a wider audience without compromising quality. The two also plan to inject advanced remote management software and bespoke image capture feature.

"We are impressed with Bullitt Group's commitment to delivering a portfolio of products that embrace the quality and innovation that our brand is known for around the world," said the excited Eileen Murphy, VP Brand Licensing of Kodak.

Aside from the said partnership with Bullit Group, Kodak was also tapped by Seedonk to create a series of new technology products that will use video care monitoring for digital consumers who want to stay connected with their children, families, pets and their homes.

Photography stalwart Kodak filed for a bankruptcy in 2012 after innovative and cutting-edge digital photography devices trampled handheld cameras. The company was not able to keep up with the digital age revolution.

Its market shrunk from $31 billion to $200 million in just 15 years.

Kodak was not totally out of the imaging industry. However, the company just focused on smaller digital printing business.

At the moment, Kodak has three apps available for mobile devices – Pic Flick App, Pick Flip HD App and Document Print App.

CES 2015 is happening on January 6-9, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
