The first trailer of Legend of Korra Season 3 is released by Nickelodeon through Korra Nation Tumblr to the delight of its avid followers awaiting the series final release date.

Warning, the second half of the article contains some Legend of Korra Season 3 spoilers.

The trailer tickles the imagination of Legend of Korra fans with thrill, chill and awesomeness, including the exciting moments and amazing shots of Korra, Lin Bei Fong and Asami, who stand out among the rest of the characters – whether new or returning.

First, Korra is seen sparring with a green-clad woman. Other trailer appearances include a young woman with an eye tattoo on the forehead and an older woman who might be Earth Queen.

Returning characters include airbending Bumi, Eska, Skoochy and one who looks like Zuko.

Korra seems to be threatened with lots of challenging villains in Book 3 – from the tattooed girl to Dai Li, all shown in the provocative trailer.

In Book 3 entitled "Change," and particularly Episode 3, the story will touch on Lin Bei Fong's past, and will introduce members of her family.

Entitled the "Metal Clan," the most intriguing Lin, who seemed to have less screen time despite being among the major characters, will have her shot and followers will get to know her better.

It will turn out Lin Bei Fong and her sister Su Jin have different fathers. They grew up competing for their mother Toph's affection, went separate ways and got into non-speaking terms for 30 years.

Book 3 might reveal the girls' fathers but it mentioned Toph has not been in Republic City for some time.

The Legend of Korra Season 3 came without any hint of whether Toph is alive, and does not have any information about its release date, but optimists feel it will not be long before it will be finally announced.
