The Huawei-manufactured Nexus 6P for Google has quickly become one of the top rated devices of the year. Here is how it comes to the second generation curved concept phone from LG, the G Flex 2.

Design

The Nexus 6P is a good example of the best in smartphone design and it comes with a full metal body that looks and feels premium. It has rounded corners, which means it is easy to hold and has a fingerprint scanner on its back panel which is accurate and reads the user input without any problem. As for colors, the device comes in three options: frost, graphite and aluminum. Coming to the G Flex 2, it only has plastic on its body and it has a curve running along its length which even extends to its screen. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device and it has a coating on its back panel that can heal small scratches within 10 seconds. Finally in terms of colors, there are two available: red and silver.

Display

When it comes to display size and quality, the Nexus 6P is ahead as it has a bigger AMOLED screen measuring 5.7 inches with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and density of 518 pixels per inch. As for the G Flex 2 it has a curved P-OLED screen that measures 5.5 inches and has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and density of 403 pixels per inch.

Specs

Here, the G Flex 2 and the Nexus 6P are equal as each has a similar Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset that is coupled with an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 430 GPU.

Memory

Comparing memory slots, the Nexus 6P is devoid of one and so its storage cannot be expanded, while the slot on the G Flex 2 allows for the addition of 128 GB. As for RAM, each of these devices has 3 GB on board.

Camera

The camera on the Nexus 6P is a 12-megapixel version and DxOMark ranks it ahead of the 13-megapixel version on the G Flex 2 which has OIS.

Price

Here, the Nexus 6P is only available unlocked and has a price tare of $500 while the G Flex 2 has a price tag of $99 with a two year contract.
