'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain': Live stream at Gamescom showing longest gameplay preview yet
In case you missed it, Konami announced it will be live streaming new gameplay clips for 'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' at Gamescom this 13th of August, 2014 with a simultaneous live stream over gamers' social network, Twitch.
Spike TV's Geoff Keighley has been tapped to host the much-awaited event. No need to wait for bloggers to deliver spoilers to you because Konami is about to do that themselves.
This year's Gamescom will take place at Cologne, Germany's eponymous 1600-seat Musical Dome. To get tickets to the event, Metal Gear fans may need to keep an eye out for competitions hosted by Konami.
Word is out that tickets will be distributed through exclusive channels or through a series of competitions. The Cologne Musical Dome ticket site may or may not sell these tickets on their website. However, if you can't be at the event in person, you can still participate over Twitch.
Aside from showing the world an hour long new preview of one of the most awaited video games this season, convention goers may also get the chance to ask Metal Gear designers any question they have about the game, in person. Rumor has it Hideo Kojima, Kojima Productions, and Konami will also organize a free-for-all Q&A.
Join the MGSV Gamescom Preview Show this 13th August, or tune in to Konami's Twitch channel on the same date at 2:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. PT.
However, while Kojima and Konami have been gracious enough to schedule an hour-long preview of the latest sequel to the Metal Gear franchise, devs are still mum on the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release date.
