Miami Heat trade rumors 2016: Chris Bosh shipped back to Toronto Raptors?

The Miami Heat are optimistic that Chris Bosh can return in the 2016-17 National Basketball Association (NBA) season. However, he is yet to be cleared even though he is already doing basketball drills. If they end up not agreeing as to when he can come back, they might opt to trade him, and a team that may be interested is the Toronto Raptors.

Before Bosh headed to South Beach to join the Heat, he was the franchise superstar of the Raptors. They selected him fourth overall in the 2003 draft and he played seven seasons for them.

In Bosh's time with the Raptors, he established himself as one of the best big men in the league even if they were struggling. Toronto only made it to the playoffs twice when they had him.

But in the past few years, the Raptors transformed into legitimate contenders, and last season, they made it to their first ever Eastern Conference Finals. Recently, it is rumored that they are seeking for a great player and Bosh could potentially be one of their targets.

Because the Heat and Bosh are having a misunderstanding regarding his playing status, it might be easier for the Raptors to nab him now and get back their former main man.

However, the Heat are certainly aware of what Bosh's value is even if he has been dealing with blood clots for two seasons now, so it is unlikely for them to give him up that easily and will do their best to get what they can with his worth.

Bosh is still with the Heat for now and it is unknown what they are planning for him in the future. With training camp approaching, the issue between the organization and the 32-year-old might be clearer as players prepare for their new campaign.
