As Motorola has continued to bring out cheaper devices like the G4 Plus, Apple has a great offering in the market in the form of the iPhone 6s. Here is how these two different smartphones compare against each other.

Design

There are very few phones that can take on the iPhone 6s in terms of its design since it has a full metal body and rounded edges which gives it a great look. As for the metal used in its construction, it is a 7000 series aluminum which makes the phone less prone to bending. There is also a fingerprint scanner included in the home button, and as for colors, the device comes in rose gold, gold, silver and gray.

Coming to the Moto G4 Plus, it does not have a premium build but is instead mostly made of plastic. However, its back panel and trim can be customized on the Moto Maker website and there is a fingerprint scanner included in the button just below the display. Additionally, it is a bigger device when compared to the iPhone 6s.

Display

Here the Moto G4 Plus is ahead since it comes with an IPS LCD display that measures 5.5 inches and has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It also has a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch. As for the iPhone 6s, it has a smaller IPS LCD display which measures 4.7 inches and a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels. It has a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch.

Hardware

On the G4 Plus is a Snapdragon 617 chipset and it is coupled with an octa-core CPU, along with an Adreno 405 GPU. As for the iPhone 6s, its Apple A9 chipset can stand up to the competition and it is coupled with a dual-core CPU and a PowerVR GT7600 GPU.

Memory

There is no memory card slot on the iPhone 6s but the G4 Plus can support up to 128 GB of external storage with this version. As for RAM, the iPhone 6s has 2 GB RAM and the G4 Plus comes with 2GB, 3GB or 4GB RAM.

Camera

The 16-megapixel camera on the G4 Plus is ranked ahead of the 12-megapixel version on the iPhone 6s on DxOMark.

Price

With a two-year contract, the iPhone 6s costs $199 while the Moto G4 Plus has a starting price of $200 unlocked.
