Gamers can finally unlock the ultimate "Contrary Superior" in the game Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire with a little trick.

It has been reported that in order to unlock this character, users should load their game using a Nintendo 3DS between Jan. 9 to Nov. 30 this year. Then, they need to choose a "Mystery Gift" on the main menu and apply "Receive Gift." After that, users will have the option to "Get with code." Use the code "POKEMON497" to unveil this Pokémon.

The Superior has the ability to reverse "any status effects that hit you. Which means if an opponent tried to lower your attack, it will inadvertently raise it. And if you use Superior's Leaf Storm Attack, you'll boost your own special attack, rather than lower it," according to Pocket Gamer.

However, this code is said to be exclusively effective for Japanese gamers only.

On the other hand, users can also focus on breeding their own Pokémon.

One way to effectively breed a Pokémon is to use a battle resort. The battle resort is only available for Pokémons who have reached the Elite Four level. This is an island made for taking care of eggs. Users can go to the Pokémon center and get Pokémon IVs. Other breeding support like daycares and IV checker will also be available in the island.

In terms of IVs, it has been recommended to breed hundreds of eggs to find your own "perfect Pokémon." To do that, focus on three basic things: IVs, abilities and natures.

Focusing on the nature of your Pokémon allows you to improve their stats. For example, a Timid nature will give you a fast-attacking Pokémon like Charizard.

Building the abilities is easier but just as important. A combination of abilities combined with a hidden ability could help a Pokémon win close battles.

Lastly, the IVs are a crucial part of Pokemon breeding. It is advised to have "at least five perfect IVs," according to Heavy. But, this would take a trial-and-error process.
