This summer we will get to see a new Pokemon distribution event coming with the "Get TV" and upcoming Pokemon X and Y movie. Additionally, a Pikachu distribution event is taking place across Japan on June 15.

It's feels like yesterday when Pokemon lovers first got that exciting dream of becoming a Pokemon Master, when everything was still new and fresh.

That was when Pokemon X and Y came out as the first gen-VI Pokemon games on Nintendo back in October 2013.

Pokemony XY is the first Pokemon game making use of complete 3D battles, world and models, while still maintaining the grid movement model.

Various Pokemon characters have been introduced since then, such as Chespin, Froakie and Fennekin.

Pokemon Xerneas graced Pokemon X and Y; while Yveltal was exclusive to Pokemon Y. Additions of new Pokemon has made Pokemon numbers reach past 700.

The following features were originally added to the two games:

Mega Evolutions – an entirely new feature which brings the experience to an evolution of fights, increased-stat appearances and altered abilities as well as various types and features.

Super Training – a mini-game system that eases up the Pokemon's EV training. The gamer will have the ability to rise up his Effort Values via several mini-games and other features.

Trainer Customization – allows picking the trainer's skin tone and hair color as well as customize accessories and outfits.

Just like in the past, Pokemon X and Y also brings fresh forms of fighting with Sky Battles as the first. These can only be joined by the flying-type Pokemon, while the wide Horde Encounters contain battles with five simultaneous Pokemon to face at once.

Pokemon X and Y is compatible with Nintendo 3DS by using Pokemon Bank to save up to 3,000 pocket monsters and transfer them from white, black, white 2 and black 2 through Poke Transporter.
