Demos that have been released exclusively for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and are now available for the public to download. The demo codes were initially given to club members and game purchasers.

One of the special demos is taken from the main Pokemon series.

"The Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Special Demo Version is set briefly in Mossdeep City. This demo has you select a starter Pokémon between Grovyle, Combusken & Marshtomp. From there, you travel throughout Mossdeep City, finding trainers and even encountering both Team Aqua and Team Magma admins in a nearby cave," according to Serebii.

As a Christmas gift to fans, Nintendo finally allowed anyone to access these demos that contained scenarios in the Hoenn region and never-before-seen Mega Evolutions.

Those who have secured the full version of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire will be able to import the mega-evolving Pokemon Glalie and other items over from the demos.

IGN has provided a list of how demo codes can be obtained: October edition of the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter, selected cinema locations, local retailer during the holidays, purchasing the new Pokemon Art Academy game from Nintendo eShop, purchasing The Pokemon Puzzle Challenge or Pokemon Trading Card Game and more.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is a remake of the 2002 Game Boy Advance Pokemon games, with several evident differences.

Nintendo has done a fine job in reintroducing the world of Hoenn to the video gaming world. The trading game also encourages players to get more interactive and social. The setbacks however, are seen in the graphics, which are specifically highlighted in the 3DS version.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is one of Nintendo's saving graces this year (alongside Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros and Bayonetta 2). More than 1.5 million copies were sold in just 10 days after its market release. Nintendo calls it "the best-selling individual portable game in the U.S. so far in 2014".

The game also scored good reviews from the gaming community. IGN gave it a rating of 7.8 out of the possible perfect score of 10, and underlines the gorgeous reintroduction of Hoenn.
