'Rainbow Six Siege' DLC 2 release date news: DLC to feature US theme
Ubisoft has already planned out the DLC expansions for its hit game, "Rainbow Six Siege." "Operation Black Ice" is the game's current DLC, but fans are waiting for the release of the second one.
So far, Ubisoft has not announced the specific details about the second DLC, but it did give an idea on what it will be. As previously reported by Ecumenical News, Ubisoft shared at an Investor Day presentation in March that the second DLC pack will have a US theme.
It was previously rumored that the second DLC would arrive on April 14, but nothing new has been dropped. At this point, the release date for the second "Rainbow Six Siege" DLC remains to be seen.
Despite the lack of release date details, fans already have an idea on what to expect from Ubisoft this year for the game when it comes to fresh content. The developer has already outlined the plans for the DLC, which will also include Japan- and Brazil-themed expansions.
As stated in the official game site, new characters will be introduced in the coming DLCs. "Operation Black Ice" brought two new Canadian operators, Buck and Frost. A total of eight operators will be introduced this year, so it's likely that two new characters will also be featured in the US-themed DLC.
The second DLC is also expected to have new game modes for players to enjoy. There will also be new maps, new events, activities and cosmetic items.
Apart from these pieces of information, Ubisoft did not reveal the exact date of the DLC's release, but only mentioned that the second, third and fourth DLC will arrive in Q2, Q3 and Q4 of this year.
With that said, fans should wait for the official announcement from Ubisoft. Many might start to get impatient, but it's likely that news will come soon.
