The promotional art for the two massive and upcoming expansions of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has been revealed. And in the "Hearts of Stone" DLC promotional art, one fan points out that the female portrayed looks quite similar to Shani from the first and original game, "The Witcher."

GameSpot reports that one forum member named, Rivdoric has pointed out that the female character shown in the promotional art for the two expansions is actually Shani. For those who might not know, Shani is a medic whom Geralt met back in the first game in the series, as said on her official Wiki page.

As for the legitimacy of the released image, CD Projekt Red, the developer of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," has confirmed that this is in fact legit. The developer on the other hand, has declined to give further details regarding the identity of the red-haired woman featured in the promotional art of the "Hearts of Stone" expansion.

Community Manager, Marcin Momot, told GameSpot that "as far as the character portrayed on the illustration, we'll leave that for the community to figure out."

And many are hopeful that the woman is indeed Shani as last April, PC Gamer reported that not only new equipment and enemies will be included in the expansion but also characters who are "new and dearly missed."

These expansions, as mentioned by GameSpot, will feature almost 30 hours of gameplay. "Blood and Wine" will reportedly provide almost 20 hours of gameplay while "Hearts of Stone" is expected to offer around 10 hours of amazing adventure.

Fans can expect "Hearts of Stone" to be released this coming October, but "Blood and Wine" is not due for release until the first quarter of 2016.

As speculated, the second expansion is most likely set for launch on March 2016. Both of these expansions are going to be included in the $25 "The Witcher 3" Expansion pass.
