'Tom Clancy's The Division' bug news: Ubisoft is now trying to fix the game-breaking backpack bug
Fans of the recently launched game "Tom Clancy's The Division" have recently spotted a game-breaking bug that gets them locked out of their account. Luckily, after several reports and complaints, game developer and publisher, Ubisoft, has finally released a statement concerning the issue on their official forum post.
"We are aware that some of you are experiencing an issue where you are locked out of your account," the company wrote on their forum post. "This is usually caused by having crafted a High-End backpack. We are looking to resolve this, it's one of our main priorities at the moment."
To help the developers tackle this game breaking issue of "Tom Clancy's The Division," Ubisoft has advised players to input all the required details on their reply to that thread.
The information that players must fill out is: the platform they are playing on, their gamertag on that platform, how long have they been locked out of their account, if they have created a high-end backpack, if there are any missing items in their inventory right before being locked out, overflown inventory, the last thing the player did before the issue happened, and lastly, if they have received some sort of error code.
This bug has apparently been active for quite some time now. According to Reddit user Bloodborne333, this backpack bug in "Tom Clancy's The Division" has been terrorizing the game for "over a week now." When they tried to reach customer support, the representatives had stated that they were "working on it."
"But I do not even believe that its not exactly listed under known issues only the missing gear part is and it doesn't state the fact the backpack issue preventing players from logging in," the user continued to note on his Reddit post.
No word yet, though, coming from Ubisoft if they have already fixed the bug in "Tom Clancy's The Division."
