Tom Clancy's 'The Division' Release Date Still 2015?

Gamers were quite disappointed when Ubisoft was unable to release Tom Clancy's "The Division" last year and many fans are likely to feel the same way now that the developer admitted that they can't release the third-person tactical shooting game yet.

According to reports, the release of the post-apocalyptic game is not yet confirmed and has instead been delayed indefinitely because of some problems with the development.

According to a report from an anonymous source, Ubisoft is experiencing problems with making the multiplayer component work at the concept stage. He admitted that they still don't have a functioning game.

But the source also mentioned that the developers are making progress. He said that they've been given more resources and more people to work on completing the game.

This should appease excited fans that have been waiting since last year for the newest addition to the Tom Clancy franchise. In 2013, Ubisoft revealed that it is working on "The Division," which is slated to be one of the best games out there. The release date was slated for 2014. But the initial announcement, which was made in 2013's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), turned out to be a disappointment. Problems with the development caused the delay.

Ubisoft has admitted that fans may not be able to enjoy "The Division" until later in 2015. But that's still, according to a source, "a tad bit optimistic."

Since "The Division" is one of the most ambitious games, it's going to need a lot of time. Obviously, the developers are already experiencing delays with some components and to release the unfinished game would be bad.

Clearly, the developers are prioritizing quality over anything else, which is good. They want to make sure that the game is perfect before they put it out there. If that's the case, then fans surely wouldn't mind waiting just a little longer until Ubisoft has come up with a polished game.
