The first multiplayer update for "Uncharted 4" is now live, and it is adding tons of new items to the action adventure title.

Among the many items included in the latest DLC drop is the new map known as the Sunken Ruins. Four new boosters have also been added and they are Enhanced Radar, Gifting, Gunslinger and Hardened.

"Uncharted 4" players are also getting five new weapons that they can use to take down their foes. The list of new weapons includes two long guns, two pistols and a new heavy weapon known as the Harbinger Sniper.

The new Path of Indra Trial is also included in the latest update for the game.

New character customization items have also been made available to players, including new outfits for Nathan Drake, Elena and many of the game's other well-known characters. Players are also getting plenty of additional cosmetic items that they can use to further customize the looks of their characters.

Naughty Dog has also added a new leveling system to "Uncharted 4's" multiplayer component.

According to Naughty Dog, players can earn experience points from finishing matches, earning medals and also from their end game scores. Players can also receive some nice rewards from leveling up, including relics, masks, mystical hats and different kinds of chests.

The recently released multiplayer update for "Uncharted 4" is just the first of four scheduled DLC drops for the game. The next multiplayer update is expected to arrive in the fall, according to the game's DLC roadmap that was shared earlier on via the PlayStation Blog.

Beyond the multiplayer items, players can also expect single-player DLC to be released for the game, though exactly when that piece of additional content will be made available is still unknown.

During a recent livestream broadcast, a developer from Naughty Dog revealed that it may take some time before more details regarding the single-player DLC are shared, Gamespot reported.

That upcoming piece of single-player DLC to be released for "Uncharted 4" will also be the first story add-on that will be made available for any game in the franchise.
