With new smartphones arriving from Chinese companies at a regular rate, it is not surprising that Vivo is also following the pattern. Yesterday, the company released two new phones in the Asian market and they came in the form of the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3Max.

Commenting on the arrival of the Vivo V3 and Vivo V3Max, GSMArena states that they were launched in India, which makes it clear that these devices would be first arriving in Asian markets. It went on to add that the devices focus on delivering great performance to users, come with slim metal bodies that give them a good look and feel, as well as make them much stronger than other models that Vivo has released in the past.

As for the details of the two devices, the Vivo V3 is the smaller device of the two and comes with a different display and processor. It has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, and as for its processor, it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 version. Coming to RAM, there is 3 GB on board and the battery is a 2,550 mAh version. Memory on board, the Vivo V3 has 32 GB and it can be expanded as there is a microSD slot on the device.

On the Vivo V3Max is a bigger 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. As for the processor, it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 version, and coming to RAM is 4 GB onboard, which puts it on par with other flagship handsets. As for the battery on the Vivo V3Max, it has a 3,000 mAh version, which is bigger than that of its sibling.

Cameras on board these devices are similar, each having a 13-megapixel version at its rear and a 8-megapixel version in front. There are also fingerprint scanners on each of these devices.

As for pricing, the Vivo V3 is priced at $270, while the bigger Vivo V3Max has a $360 price tag.
