'WWE 2K17' new update: Patch 1.01 out now for PS3, Xbox 360 ports of the game
A new patch is now available to download for the PS3 and Xbox 360 ports of "WWE 2K17," and it is bringing plenty of fixes together with DLC support.
Starting with the fixes, the new patch is set to apply plenty of gameplay tweaks that should eliminate some particularly bothersome bugs.
As was noted in a post on the official 2K forums, one specific fix makes sure that wrestlers will no longer be able to suddenly exit the ring while involved in matches that do not allow for that.
Certain floating and warping bugs that could really disrupt gameplay have also been addressed by the latest patch.
While the patch does introduce some needed fixes, some players have noted that there are still lingering issues that have remained untouched.
"WWE 2K17" players have already reported problems related to the ring announcers and to the referees. Certain moves are also not functioning properly, according to some gamers.
Developers have yet to indicate when another patch addressing the other issues will be released.
Along with game fixes, Patch 1.01 for the last-gen ports of "WWE 2K17" also brings with it DLC support for an upcoming downloadable.
Specifically, the patch provides support for the new "Legends Pack."
The "Legends Pack" DLC will add five new wrestlers to the game, including 80s icons Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine as well as multi-time world champion Sycho Sid.
WWE staple Tatanka is also included in the "Legends Pack" and the fifth and final wrestler players can add to the game's roster is the late, great Eddie Guerrero.
Players who want to get the "Legends Pack" for the game can purchase it for $8.99 or receive it as part of the $29.99 season pass.
More news about "WWE 2K17" as well as future patches and DLC packs that will be released for it should be made available soon.
