'WWE 2K17' news: 'New Moves Pack' now available, includes the fun Fireball Punch
"WWE 2K17" players now have an opportunity to gain access to a bunch of new wrestling maneuvers courtesy of the recently released "New Moves Pack."
The newly available downloadable content pack is filled with plenty of interesting moves that can really help diversify the arsenals of the created Superstars.
The pack includes some particularly devastating moves such as the Gory Special Flatliner and the Electric Chair Driver, a new take on a classic wrestling move.
Also featured in the "New Moves Pack" are maneuvers popularized by today's brightest stars, such as the TJP Clutch commonly employed by former Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins, and the Face Wash Combo, typically executed to devastating results by the bruising Samoa Joe.
Arguably the most unusual maneuver featured in the "New Moves Pack" is none other than the Fireball Punch. The move – usually employed by The New Day's Xavier Woods – is seemingly inspired by those fictional "Street Fighter" characters. Woods commits to the move completely by even doing the "gather" motion beforehand.
The Fireball Punch as well as the other new attacks included in the "New Moves Pack" can also be seen in the trailer below.
"WWE 2K17" players unable to identify all the moves shown can also check out the full list provided by the developers over on the game's official website.
Players can get the "New Moves Pack" on its own for $3.99 or acquire it as part of the game's $29.99 season pass.
There are still two more DLC packs set to be released for the game.
If developers follow the same DLC release pattern they employed for "WWE 2K16," then it looks like the "Future Stars Pack" will be the next one made available.
The "Future Stars Pack" will add five new wrestlers to the game. These are Austin Aries, Tye Dillinger, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and Mojo Rawley.
More details about the additions coming to "WWE 2K17" should be made available soon.
