The list of free games for Xbox Live Gold members for the month of July is now available.

For Xbox One owners, Halo: Spartan Assault (normally priced $9.99) and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood (normally priced $14.99) will come out free for download this month.

For Xbox 360 owners, watch out for free downloads of Charlie Murder (normally priced $9.99) and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (normally priced $29.99).

Last month, Microsoft announced its Xbox Live Gold benefits together with June software updates such as external storage, the use of player's real name on Xbox Live, and improved SmartGlass integration.

Xbox Live Gold members in the United States will be given access to a 3-month trial of Hulu Plus.

Xbox Live Gold also extends the following rewards to players:

Complete My Map Pack Punchcard: 5,000 credits

Complete My TV Season Pass Punchcard: 10,000 credits

Complete My Apps Punchcard: 1,000 credits

Unlock My Achievements: 3% rebate

Renew My Gold Membership: 3,000 credits

Make My 1st Xbox Store Purchase: 1,250 credits

Refer My Friends: 1,000 credits for each referral

Take a Survey: 250 credits

Xbox Live Gold members also get exclusive discounts via Deals with Gold.

This program extends up to 50-75% savings on games sold in the Xbox Store every week.

For Xbox 360, Gold membership includes online multiplayer, free games, exclusive discounts on deals, and parties and party chat.

The same items are featured in Xbox One, plus smart match, home gold, game DVR cloud storage, upload studio and an unlimited access to Xbox Fitness until December 2014.

In April, Game of Thrones' season premier "Two Swords" aired for free on Xbox Live Gold.
