Nissan will be showcasing a diverse lineup of vehicles at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Among the 20 cars in their lineup, car enthusiasts are anticipating the Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo.

The supercar was unveiled last 2014 during the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. It was developed in collaboration with Polyphony Digital Inc., the creators of "Gran Turismo." The car also made its virtual debut on "Grant Turismo 6."

According to Nissan, the Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo is the "real world embodiment of a virtual car, through which gamers around the world experience Nissan's dynamic performance and innovation." The Japanese automobile manufacturer also announced that the concept car hints at what the next generation Nissan vehicles will look like in the future.

The Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo will be displayed during the exhibition and spectators will be able to see its new features, including a striking Fire Knight red body color and a revised front air intake that now sports Nissan's signature V-Motion grille.

The Concept 2020 looks futuristic with its sharp, sculpted and aerodynamic body. It has a long and low wheelbase, hexagonal rear wheel arches and an automatic rear wing. It's jagged design lets the supercar reach optimal speeds. Other design features include a wraparound windshield, high-set vertical headlights and 3D taillights. The cabin also features 2 2 seating.

While Nissan has yet to announce the powertrain options for this supercar, Car and Driver reported that the GT-R could be powered by a hybrid version of the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that powers the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO race car. The current engine spouts 545/550 horsepower. The Concept 2020's engine will be co-developed by the Williams Formula 1 team. Through the Williams Hybrid Power system, the GT-R can have its power output at 800 horsepower.

While the futuristic supercar isn't expected to be launched until 2018, spectators can get a closer look while it is displayed at the 44th Tokyo Motor Show from Oct. 29 to Nov. 8. Nissan has also set up a live stream link here
