Audi has unveiled the newest models joining the TT Series — the TT RS Coupe and the TT RS Roadster. The two models were unveiled at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show.

The 2017 Audi TT RS models are powered by the new 2.5-liter aluminum five-cylinder engine that delivers 400 horsepower and 354 lb-ft. of torque. The Coupe and the Roadster can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds and 3.9 seconds, respectively. Top speed is limited at 155 mph, but upon customer request, it can be tweaked to reach 174 mph.

The engine comes with a lightweight construction, reduced internal friction, and up to 17 percent increase in power delivery. Power is coursed through the quattro permanent all-wheel drive via the seven-speed S tronic transmission.

In terms of design, the 2017 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster are sporty with athletically streamlined design. The front fascia features the newly designed Singleframe grille with a honeycomb pattern and quattro logo and larger air intakes. Other notable design cues include a fixed rear wing, two large oval exhaust tailpipes, and aerodynamic side sills. The cars come standard with 19-inch wheels and LED lighting.

The Coupe and Roadster's design can further be enhanced by optional equipment including 20-inch forged lightweight wheels, lighter abrasion-resistant carbon fiber ceramic disks, and sport suspension with adaptive dampers. For the first time in an Audi production vehicle, matrix OLED rear lights have also been made available.

The Coupe and Roadster come with driver-focused interiors. The cabin comes standard with the Audi virtual cockpit. The12.3-inch display comes with a special RS screen that shows rev counter, torque, g-force, and top speed. There is also the RS sport leather steering wheel with shift paddles and multifunction buttons.

Audi is also offering customers the latest and most advanced infotainment technologies like the MMI navigation plus with touch, text search and voice control, the Audi connect online module with WiFi connectivity, smartphone integration, and the Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The 2017 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster will go on sale in Europe this fall. U.S. Prices start at about $74,900 for the Coupe and about $78,000 for the Roadster. U.S. availability has yet to be determined.
