Alcatel Idol 4 Pro, Idol 4 Mini could be good smartphones to consider

Alcatel does have its fair share of devices out in the market though they are mostly catered to the middle class. But that doesn't limit the company to those niches alone and these two rumoured models could be something worth checking out.
Word has it that Alcatel will be releasing two curious devices in the Alcatel Idol 4 Pro and Idol 4 Mini. The Idol 4 Pro will be running on a Windows 10 operating system while the other on an Android 6.0 M.
The Alcatel Idol 4 Pro is said to be carrying on from the design of a previous model in the Idol 4S. This means that the device will likely feature a metal chassis body, a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor at the forefront.
Other features it may carry include 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage, a 21 MP main camera, 8 MP front-facing camera and a 3,000 mAh battery. Aside from that, the device will also have a fingerprint scanner feature.
The specs alone are pretty impressive though the pricing standpoint remains to be seen. With the specs mentioned above, it would not be surprising if it would carry a hefty price tag. However, with the marketability of the device in question, a more manageable SRP could surprise consumers.
Assuming it does come with a hefty price tag, the Alcatel Idol 4 Mini could be worth considering.
The accompanying device will offer a 5-inch 720p display and run on a MediaTek processor. It will have a lower 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP front-facing shooter. A 2,400 mAh battery will be responsible for its required power and will likely cost a whole lot less.
Though the brand is not among the bigwigs in the smartphone niche, the specs for both devices are pretty impressive. But until the prices are revealed, there is no way to tell how far these Alcatel models will go.
