Amazon 3D phone: Unveiling rumored at Seattle launch event June 18

Amazon will be holding a launch event in Seattle on June 18, reviving rumors it is working on an Amazon 3D phone which is speculated to be launched at the event.
CEO Jeff Bezos will host the launch event, as revealed in a post on the company's website. In the post, Amazon encourages everyone to request an invitation.
The video features people awed by something not seen in the picture. They express feelings of surprise as they comment on what they are watching, some saying they have never seen anything like it and that they do not know how was it done.
Amazon is not elaborating further but given that the online retail giant has previously offered its products in several launches, such as the Kindle Fire tablets and Fire TV streaming box, the June 18 event holds a lot of promise and excitement.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon is working on a 3D-display smartphone. The device in the video, while not shown, seems to offer a 3D experience as one user said it moves with her.
This month the Amazon 3D phone is going to be revealed, Bloomberg reports. If that happens, this will be Amazon's first try breaking into the smartphone market.
The 3D feature on the device implies it can move with the user as you tilt your head. Tilting it in a certain direction might give the details of what you are looking at.
Whether the main feature of the rumored Amazon 3D phone will be welcomed by the consumers, or regarded as an obstacle to convenience of use, the device maker already has it covered, as one user in the video says the technology is quite intuitive.
