Apple rumor: Will September see the launch of eight new products this September?

(Reuters)

Apple fanboys and fangirls have a lot to look forward to as the year ends. Apple Inc. is getting ready to release eight new products right before 2015 closes.

Apple Watch may be the main event so far, but Apple Inc. is gearing for a big bang exit to 2015. As most users of Apple products know, the Cupertino-based company usually unveils new products and major announcements come fall. And in a few more months, the company is expected to do just that. So what will be on the table?

1) iOS 9

This has definitely been in the radar the past few weeks, even months. And it is logical that one of the major things reported to come out of Apple's workshop is the new mobile operating system. It will go hand-in-hand with the release of what is expected to be four (maybe even five) new mobile devices.

2 and 3) iPhone 6s and 6s Plus

What is a year without a new iPhone? With the iPhone 6 almost a year old, tech enthusiasts can expect the latest iteration of Apple's flagship phone to get an introduction come September, the latest. According to BGR, the 6s and 6s Plus will be unveiled in the huge Apple press conference which will take place on Sept. 9, with stores starting to retail the duo by Sept. 18.

4 and 5) iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 4

Most of the time, Apple conferences come with the announcement of the new iPhones and the new iPads. So it is not a surprise if the third iPad Air and the fourth iPad Mini also get some screen time before the year ends. Expect both to have some changes and upgrades (albeit minor ones) from the current models.

6) Apple TV

Fans of this tech company have always wanted a better Apple TV and they are getting their wish this year. Alongside the mobile devices, an improved Apple TV will reportedly be introduced. It promises a new remote and bigger memory. Fans will also now have access to third party apps.

7) OS X El Capitan

Just like the mobile devices, Apple computers will get an upgraded operating system. This will be just in time as well for the release of the eighth new product on the company's list.

8) 4k iMac

Let's face it, Macs have one of the — if not the — best screen resolutions these days, thanks to its retina display. But Apple says they can still top what they currently have available in the market with the upcoming 4K Retina Mac.

All of these products have been in the rumor mill for quite some time now and Apple is ready to set the rumors straight in their annual press conference this September.

But one question remains and that is: Will they also introduce the bigger iPad Pro? Stay tuned for updates.
