Apple Watch 2, the Cupertino-based manufacturer's second iteration of the popular 2015 wearable fitness device, is now rumored to be unveiled sometime in September 2016, according to the report from Mac World U.K.

The release date for the revised Apple Watch was first brought to light by circulating rumors, which suggested that Apple might finally release the new device on their March event, along with other gadgets that are set to be unveiled, as reported by 9to5Mac last January.

This new rumored timeframe, as what Mac World U.K. said on its report, will perfectly coincide with the expected launch date of the next iPhone handset, the iPhone 7.

In terms of features for this new Apple Watch 2, Gizmodo reports that it will still sport a design similar to the 2015 iteration of the Watch. However, under its hood, rumor has it that this wearable fitness device from Apple will be equipped with a new kind of chipset, which will boost the communication of the gadget to the user's iPhone handset.

There is also a camera installed in the Apple Watch 2 that will allow the users to use the video calling feature called FaceTime.

Aside from the new chipset and FaceTime support, the new Watch is expected to have a revamped battery life, which can be stretched out for maximum usage.

As for the pricing, though, rumors have pointed out that the Apple Watch 2 will come out to the market with a tag of $349, pretty much in the same price range as the previous 2015 model, Gizmodo reports. Do take note that his is just a rough estimation on what to expect in the price tag for the second Watch.

However, since everything is still in the rumor mill, it is highly advisable for the fans to take this one with a tiny pinch of salt, and consider it as a mere rumor until proven otherwise.
