Details about the upcoming game "Assassin's Creed Victory" have now surfaced online, claiming that its release date has been set in December.

A pre-order page of the game along with its details is available on the website of Swedish retailer, Webhallen. The game's release date is rumored to be Dec. 31, almost a year after the launch of "Assassin's Creed Unity" on Nov. 21, 2014.

After authentic information and images of the game had been leaked in December 2014, the game's developer Ubisoft had confirmed that it was developing "Assassin's Creed Victory" as its latest installment.

In "Assassin's Creed Unity", players can explore the fifteenth Century Italy, Colonial Boston and New York, the Caribbean. According to media reports, "Assassin's Creed Unity" will feature a brand-new assassin set during the Victorian era in London and the French Revolution in Paris. Similar to "Assassin's Creed Unity," the latest installment in the popular game franchise, "Assassin's Creed Victory" will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

According to Darby McDevitta, the writer of the "Assassin's Creed" series, the game's developer Ubisoft has a number of ideas for the game sequels that can merge modern-day narrative with rich historical background and plans to continue the game series for the next 10 years.

"We've created 500, 600, 700 years worth of history that we hope to start teasing out for the next 10, 20 years or however long we're around. I particularly love the lore. I've been working the past two years, with all the other writers, on getting a great document together on the First Civilization," said Darby McDevitta.

Meanwhile, "Assassin's Creed" fans are looking forward to more details being announced at the highly anticipated E3 2015 in June and receive the latest updates about the release date of "Assassin's Creed Victory."
