Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe release date, specs: handset to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 821

Just last week, Qualcomm unveiled its latest Snapdragon 821 chip, which it claims is 10 percent faster than its already powerful 820 chip. Asus just recently revealed that its newest ZenFone 3 Deluxe will feature the 821 chip, making it the first phone to make the announcement.
According to reports, Asus confirmed that the ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be the newest phone to sport the Snapdragon 821. The flagship phone, which was already unveiled at the Computex event earlier this year, has some jawdropping specs. It includes a 5.7-inch 1080 display, a whopping 23-megapixel front camera, a powerhouse 3,000 mAh battery, a USB-C, and it will run up to 6 GB of RAM.
Other reports further detailed that the 23-megapixel camera is built with a Sony IMX 318 image sensor and a f/2.0 aperture lens with optical image stabilization feature. The camera's fine specs make it capable to shoot demanding 4K videos. As for added security, the smartphone will also include a rapid fingerprint security. The tech company also claims that the battery can fast-charge up to 60 percent within 39 minutes.
The high-end ZenFone 3 Deluxe may come out this fall exclusively in Asian retailers for approximately $780. Asus has not revealed yet whether they will release the phones in America. The cheaper versions of the phone, which have less processing power and storage, will be available sometime in August.
Meanwhile, Qualcomm said in an official statement that "the 821 is engineered to deliver faster speed, improved power savings, and greater application performance, ensuring 821 powered devices keep pace with the growing performance demands of users to deliver the unmatched user experiences the Snapdragon 800 tier is known for."
Aside from the Asus, it is also rumored that Google's upcoming Nexus flagship and Samsung's Note 7 phone may also feature the Snapdragon 821.
Asus is expected to announce the specific release date of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe soon.
