Audi has introduced the Selection 24h, a special edition coupe that pays homage to the R8 LMS that won at last year's 24 Hours Nürburgring Race. It is also based on the R8 V10 Plus coupe, the fastest and most powerful Audi vehicle ever created.

The Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 mid-engine that delivers 610 horsepower. Power is sent to all four wheels via the newly developed quattro drive. The coupe can go from 0 to 62.1 mph in just 3.2 seconds. It also attains a top speed of 205.1 mph.

Design-wise, the limited edition coupe comes with high-gloss carbon fiber components including the front spoiler, exterior mirror housings, engine compartment cover, rear wing, and diffuser. The side blades come with "R8 24h" badging and the sport exhaust system comes with black-trimmed tailpipes. The coupe is also equipped with 20-inch forged aluminum wheels with 10-spoke Y design in glossy Antracite Black.

The car's tricolor paint scheme — the Suzuka Gray base color with Mythos Black and Misano Red highlights — also evokes the spirit of the Audi R8 LMS race car.

The Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection 24h also comes with motorsport-inspired components including the aerodynamic suspension that can handle high downforces. The coupe also comes standard with dynamic steering, the adaptive damper control system, the Audi magnetic ride, and Audi laser lighting.

Inside, the coupe comes with full-leather upholstery in Rotor Gray, an Alcantara headliner, and a high-gloss carbon finish on the air vents, virtual cockpit inlays, and the illuminated door sills. To showcase the car's limited nature, the virtual cockpit comes with a a matte "R8 24h" logo and the door sills display the car's serial number.

The Selection 24h model also comes with exclusive entry lights that project the Audi R8 logo onto the road surface. In the near future, Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection 24h owners will also be able to personalize their car with a variety of letterings and logos.

The Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection 24h is now available to order. Only 24 models will be produced. The coupe is available to purchase for about $260,000.
