August 2016 new game releases: 'No Man's Sky,' 'Madden NFL 17' among new titles

August promises to be a big month in the world of video games, with some high-profile titles already set to arrive in the coming weeks.
While there are more than a few titles to get excited about this month, probably none of them are as eagerly anticipated as the sci-fi game known as "No Man's Sky."
The space-faring title will be giving players access to a new universe teeming with life and locations just waiting to be discovered. Players can also look forward to dealing with these potentially hostile alien lifeforms either on the ground with their weapons or in the vastness of outer space with only their ships protecting them from the constant attacks.
The PS4 port of "No Man's Sky" is slated to arrive in North America on Aug. 9, while the PC version is set to be made available worldwide a few days later on Aug. 12, according to the game's official website.
Also coming this month is the latest installment of the long-running football game franchise: "Madden NFL 17." Football fans can look forward to playing with the updated rosters and there are also new gameplay features for them to try out as well.
"Madden NFL 17" will be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Aug. 23.
If players are looking to engage in battles away from outer space or even the gridiron, then they can purchase "The King of Fighters XIV."
New storylines, gameplay features and improved visuals are included in "King of Fighters XIV," and interested players can see these for themselves when the game is released for the PS4 on Aug. 23.
Lastly, players who want to try their hand at a new role-playing title can get "Deus EX: Mankind Divided." The upcoming game blends together elements of action, stealth and first-person shooting games and then it enables the player to find the particular path of progression that works best for them.
Aug. 23 will apparently be a big day for video games as "Deus EX: Mankind Divided" is also scheduled to be released for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on that date.
More news about the video games that will be coming this month should be made available soon.
