Black Friday 2015 predictions: UHD TV's may have the best offers; shops to be more transparent about deals

Aside from Halloween and Thanksgiving, consumers are also gearing up for Black Friday and all the great deals that come with it. The day is still weeks away but companies are already giving people a taste of the discounts that they will be offering.

Countless products will be on sale but if there's one thing that the past few years have proven and it's that electronic devices will once more play a big part in the sales as consumers try to get their hands on Apple devices and the latest TVs.

The experts have predicted the following for this year's Black Friday –

  • Apple will be offering discounts for their products, if consumers know where to look.

The past few years have seen Apple resellers undercutting the mother company with their Black Friday deals-- with Apple's blessing-- and this year won't be an exception. So consumers planning on getting an iPhone, an iPad, or even an Apple Watch should be patient and wait for the prices to drop.  It's been reported that the iPad Mini 4 might have the most deals this time, with some retailers offering it for as low as $300. Deals for iPhones will also come in all shapes and sizes.

  • Android Devices won't be left behind.

Consumers should also expect to see really good deals on Android tablets and smart phones. Best Buy in particular is offering big discounts on prepaid Android devices, as evidenced by its $19.99 offers last year.

  • UHD TV's will see big drop in prices.

4K UHD TVs will be offered at a discount, but consumers will still shell out about $1,000 for a 60 or 65 inch set from a premiere brand. There might be some shops that will go as low as $800 though. However, some of the best deals will be for the 60 to 65-inch 1080p units which might be offered for as low as $500 for the secondary brands and about $600 to $700 for the major brands.

  • Online discount sites will be pushier than other stores.

Groupon is already leading the Black Friday charge by giving previews to the deals it will be offering. Interested consumers can check out their site here.

The best thing about this year's Black Friday deals is that the pricing will be more competitive and transparent so consumers should take advantage of that and start researching on where they can get the best prices for the products they want.
