'Black Ops 3' DLC pack 3 release date rumors: New DLC out this week?

(Treyarch / Activision)"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" to release Eclipse DLC

Treyarch's DLC plans for "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" have already been revealed, and what all fans know at this time is that all of the expansions will be out this year. The latest DLC to be released was named "Eclipse," but fans are now wondering when the next new content will come out.

According to an alleged leak found at Videogamesblogger.com, the third DLC will be released this June 21. This report was published way back in August 2015 but it somehow accurately predicted the release date for "Eclipse," which was on April 19 for PlayStation 4 and May 19 for Xbox One and PC users.

The publication proclaimed that they have also predicted previous release dates correctly and getting it right with "Eclipse" also added to their track record of correct predictions. However, the website did not reveal their sources, and since Treyarch didn't confirm the authenticity of the report, readers should still take it with a pinch of salt.

An official announcement regarding the DLC 3's title has also yet to be made. But if the predictions are anything to go by, fans don't need to wait longer as the DLC will allegedly be released in a couple of days for PS4 owners. Those who will play the DLC on Xbox One and PC may need to wait a bit longer since it is reportedly releasing in July 21.

While there are no official details yet, fans will just have to enjoy the latest game update, 1.11, which is available on all gaming platforms. The new update brings several changes to the gameplay and introduces features that should make players enjoy the game more.

The highlight of the 1.11 update is that players can now step in the shoes of Blackjack, who can now do mercenary work. However, the chance to play the leader of the black market doesn't come easy. Players need to accomplish two Weekly Contracts and gain the Mercenary Contract to get the opportunity.
