Square Enix has debuted the first ever gameplay trailer of Bravely Second, a sequel to the Nintendo 3DS JRPG game, Bravely Default.

The four-minute clip featured a limited environment, but showcases fresh content and new character Magnolia.

In the video, Magnolia is walking around the city sporting a number of her looks in different job forms.

She is also expected to flaunt a variety of hairstyles and color patterns for her job outfits, which will be her trademark that will separate her from the rest of the game's characters.

A new Magnolia figure will go on sale this coming March 27, 2015 in Japan for around $106.97, along with a DLC code for Bravely Second.

Part of the preparations to improve this sequel includes hiring new writers and composers.

Naotaka Hayashi, who wrote Bravely Default's storyline, is no longer involved in Bravely Second.

Famitsu reported that aside from having multiple writers in the team working on the new role playing game, Producer Tomoya Asano and Assistant Producer Shinji Takahashi took care of building Bravely Second's scenarios.

Due to scheduling issues, Square Enix also made a big switch in composer – from Revo to Supercell's ryo.

"Similar to the way we decided to use Revo in the previous game, we decided that we wanted someone who can make music with melodies that stand out," explains Asano.

Silicon Studio started with the development of Bravely Second started in September of 2013, taking into consideration feedback and suggestions from Bravely Default players.

"We are continuing to tune the UI based on user feedback and listening to Twitter and etc. about what's going on, what's good and what people don't like. We're trying to have it in the game," said Takehiro Terada, president of Silicon Studio, in an interview with Siliconera.

Square Enix also confirmed that they will grace the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2014 next month, and that they will host a playable battle demo of Bravely Second in the said event.
