"Cannon Brawl," one of the well-known PC games, is making a comeback and will be landing on console platforms come August 2. The game was rolled out a couple of years ago by game developer Turtle Sandbox in which the console version is now developed by Blitworks.

"Cannon Brawl" is a two-dimensional strategy title packed with lots of firepower and a highly destructible environment. Players take control of a small airship which gamers have to use in putting up structures, gun turrets, cannons, rocket launchers and even lasers in strategic places within their base. Players may choose to play solo with its campaign mode or they can go head to head with other players on its multiplayer gameplay.

Moreover, one of Blitworks' founders, Jorge Cabezas, stated in a blog post that the upcoming title is loaded with lots of fun, intense action, and amped-up gameplay. He added that the game's main goal is to defend the castle that players have put up and at the same time bombard the enemy's castle with everything the player has in his arsenal. Cabezas further explained that the game is played in real-time and added that each match progresses in an unexpected way. Whatever he meant by that is yet to be discovered by fans and would-be players.

In addition, Cabezas mentioned that players can play in five distinct worlds in the game's campaign mode, and at the same time, unlock five playable characters, not to mention over 15 weapons that need to be unlocked as well. As aforementioned, he also stated that with the weapons unlocked and collected by players, they can pulverize everything in sight within the enemy's premises. Furthermore, Cabezas also stated that the console version of "Cannon Brawl" will be offered in full high definition and assured players that the gameplay will be as smooth as butter.

As earlier reported, "Cannon Brawl" will be out on August 2 in the United States. Europe and Xbox One players will get the chance to play it on August 3 and 5 respectively.
