Chicago Bulls trade rumors 2016: Taj Gibson eyed by three teams?
Chicago Bulls veteran forward Taj Gibson has been in the trade rumor mill for some time now this off-season, and currently, three Eastern Conference squads have expressed interest in him.

According to a report by Yibada.com, these are the Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors.
The Celtics are one of the teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA) which has been included in almost every trade rumor there is this 2016. Names like Blake Griffin and Russell Westbrook were linked to Boston, but so far, no move has yet to be accomplished involving either of the two.
If the C's are trading for Gibson, it is likely to add veteran presence to their front line. They already landed Al Horford and it would be a good move to bring in one more experienced player who can lead and guide the younger big men on the roster.
This is similar with the Sixers. If they pursue Gibson, it is because he is a veteran. Yes, the team is loaded at the no. 4 and 5 positions, aiming to deal away some of their big men to address the issue, but for a rebuilding franchise that has a young core, it is difficult to shut down an opportunity to trade for a guy whose experience can help budding talents and the entire team overall.
It is no different for the Raptors as well, even if they have a number of talented power forwards and centers. Only one of them is as experienced as Gibson and he is Jason Thompson. And even Thompson has not played as many games as Gibson did in the 2015-16 season.
Aside from this, Gibson's energy could be beneficial to the Raptors on both ends of the floor.
For now, the Bulls are yet to trade Gibson, but if good offers will be made by these teams or other interested squads, it might only be a matter of time before a deal is reached.
