It looks like the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to get their hands full in the first round series against the Detroit Pistons, but they are seeking to get a 2-0 lead tomorrow night.

In Game 1, the Pistons led early and kept fighting until the final frame, but the Cavs had all the answers, with former All-Stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love emerging to lead the home team.

Irving had 31 points, five rebounds, six assists, two steals, with one block, while Love recorded 28 points, 13 rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Of course, franchise superstar LeBron James played great as well despite the tough defense being applied to him by the Pistons. The four-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) added 22 points, six rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and two rejections.

After Love and Irving suffered injuries during last season's playoffs which derailed the Cavaliers' championship campaign, James is just pleased the two are back and played great.

"It was great to be out on the floor with them and for them to put together the performance that they did," the 31-year-old stated following the game according to ESPN

Making life difficult for the Cavs last Sunday were the Pistons' Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Marcus Morris, Reggie Jackson and Andre Drummond.

Caldwell-Pope led the team scoring 21 points. Morris followed with 20 points, while Jackson added 17 points.

Drummond recorded a double-double for Detroit with 13 points and 11 rebounds, also having a blocked shot. Those were great numbers but a bit less than his averages of 16.2 points and 14.8 rebounds per game during the regular season.

The Cavaliers are preventing the Pistons from stealing a win at the Quicken Loans Arena as this will give the latter great momentum once the series shifts to Motor City.
