With less than a week to go before the commercial release date of action adventure role-playing game Dragon Age: Inquisition, BioWare and Electronic Arts (EA) have launched an official trailer to drum up buzz and interest in the gaming community.

The one-minute and a half trailer centers on Iron Bull, one of the most famous and toughest mercenaries of the Inquisition. He is more than happy to get paid to slaughter demons.

Aside from this teaser, BioWare has also teamed up with Failbetter Games to launch a short game entitled Dragon Age: The Last Court, a prequel to the Inquisition title.

The game can be accessed via EA's Dragon Age Keep customization service. This has been a secret project intended to be a prelude to the grand release of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

"In Dragon Age: The Last Court, you are the ruler of Serault: an eccentric fiefdom at the farthest ends of Orlais. As the Huntress or the Scholar you'll guide your realm through the most crucial period in its history," the official website said.

Advance copies of Dragon Age: Inquisition have been distributed to gaming news sites, along with a multitude of hands-on gameplay previews that plague the internet.

Gamespot particularly lauded the game's characters.

"I was pretty impressed with the character creation, unexpectedly so... They're much more in depth that I expected them to be."

Polygon, on the other hand, praised the overall storyline and cohesion of elements of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

"It's a testament to BioWare's ability to forge a connection between myself and the world of its games that I was willing to replay this same stretch of game so many times while also on a deadline."

The Dragon Age: Inquisition release date is scheduled to hit store shelves on Nov. 18.
