Episode 38 of "Dragon Ball Super" may feature the mysterious warrior named Hit squaring off against Vegeta.

The upcoming episode, which is reportedly set to be known as "Here's Universe 6's Final Warrior: Hit, Mightiest of Men," will most likely shed more light on the capabilities of the thus far still largely unknown fighter.

According to Design and Trend, Hit will likely become the next major villain of the show.

Hit has, to this point, held off on giving anyone a full glimpse of his capabilities, and fans will have to see if that changes when he takes on Vegeta.

As of now, it doesn't appear as though Vegeta will be able to overcome Hit during their battle.

In the brief preview trailer for episode 38 of "Dragon Ball Super," viewers can see Vegeta struggling to get in any offense against Hit.

Instead, fans will see Vegeta getting pummeled consistently, and what's more, the beating is all happening while he is in Super Saiyan Blue form.

With Vegeta already in an elevated state of power, it would be easy to think that he would be more capable of dealing damage to Hit, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

The upcoming episode might also give fans an idea of just what it is that motivates Hit to fight.

With so little known about the character to this point, Hit himself is still a bit of a blank slate, with fans only recognizing him thanks to his unflinching demeanor, intimidating presence and impressive array of attacks. With any luck, episode 38 of "Dragon Ball Super" may even hint at how Hit himself has gotten so powerful.

The upcoming episode may even give a clue of a future encounter taking place between Hit and Goku.
