Fans of one of the most successful franchises in anime history will delighted with the reveal of the first concept art for the latest Dragon Ball Z movie – Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F.

F stands for Fierza, an old popular dead villain from the Dragon Ball mythology.

"An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for 'egg') arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the 'F' that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived...!" a brief description in Shueisha V Jump Magazine said.

The concept art will be released in the January 2015 issue of the Shueisha V Jump Magazine. The image also contains the Battle of Gods antihero, Beerus.

Dragon Ball Z animation director Tadayoshi Yamamuro is reportedly taking the helm to direct the film.

Famous game designer Akira Toriyama also unveiled two new characters (Sorbet and Tagoma) that will be included in the movie that will premiere in Japanese theaters on April 18, 2015, both in 2D and 3D. The opening date falls during the country's Golden Week.

Toriyama is very hands-on when it comes to this project. He is not only involved in creating concept art, but also in scrutinizing the smallest details in the script. He has also vowed to integrate more action scenes.

There is no confirmation yet whether Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F will be localized for the US or other international markets.
