The building of settlements is an important feature of the game "Fallout 4" and a DLC that released recently with the name "Contraptions Workshop" provided gamers with a lot of opportunities to indulge in this activity for hours at an end. And even as the DLC was being tried out by gamers, it was concluded that it addressed several deficits in the game.

Forbes, commenting on the most recent update to "Fallout 4," states that "Contraptions Workshop" is a good addition when it comes to overhauling settlements. This is the second DLC which is focused on building and outfitting settlements, with the previous one being "Wasteland Workshop." However, in this particular DLC, Forbes points out that gamers will get the chance to display the loot that they have won or scavenged. This, it states, was a big drawback in the game so far, and while it is happy the issue has been addressed, other games did a much better job of having such a facility for loot from the beginning. Also, the forges for creating weapons and armor are being highlighted as a good addition in the "Contraptions Workshop" DLC.

Meanwhile, IGN states that gamers will find the "Contraptions Workshop" DLC a lot of fun as it has instruments that are designed to work together. However, it also points out that a lot of raw materials will be needed for this particular DLC and gamers will naturally end up cheating to get them. It eventually states that going by the features of the DLC, it is quite like that of Minecraft but in a crude form.

Given that this is the fifth DLC pack for "Fallout 4," it has been received with enthusiasm by players who are also eagerly waiting for the upcoming packs. The next pack that is expected to release is titled "Vault-Tec Workshop" and it is expected to arrive sometime in July of this year. Following this, Nuka-World will be the last to arrive in August and it has already been attracting a lot of attention because it will allow gamers to become raiders.
