'Fallout 4' new mods update brings new filters, stats and other tagging features

A new update released for "Fallout 4's" mods is adding some handy new features that can help with easier navigation and proper identification.

First off, new time-based filters will now enable players to navigate through the game's mods more efficiently. The filters will be applied to all the major mod categories, so players can see which ones have just been recently added and which ones may have already been around for a while.

Mod Author Stats have also been added so that creators will better understand just how well-received their submissions may be.

New features focused on making "Fallout 4" mods easier to identify have also been introduced via the latest update.

One of these additions will allow mod authors to change the version numbers, which could come in handy if they have introduced some new features that other players may want to know more about.

Comments made on mods will also become more manageable thanks to the new update. With this new feature, comments made on mod pages can now both be flagged and liked, according to Bethesda.

While Xbox One and PC players may already be able to make use of the newly added mod features, those on the PS4 may have to wait for a bit longer.

Full mod support for the PS4 port of "Fallout 4" has yet to be provided, though it is expected to arrive soon.

Bethesda previously revealed that there are issues plaguing the PS4 mods, including ones that affect textures and storage limits. Bethesda has also indicated that they are working with Sony to resolve the issues affecting the PS4's mods.

Full support for the PS4 mods was expected to be provided this month, though it's unclear if that will still be the case, especially with June nearly over.

More news about "Fallout 4" and its mods should be made available in the near future.
