FIFA 15 release date countdown: EA launches official TV commerical, featuring Leo Messi

(PHOTO: EA Sports)The world's greatest footballer today, Lionel Messi stars in the new FIFA 15 commercial.

The official TV commercial for FIFA 15, entitled "Feel the Game," was released by EA Sports on Sept. 12, 11 days ahead of the game's Sept. 23 release date.

"FIFA 15's TV ad, 'Feel The Game,' featuring Barcelona star Leo Messi shows how players will be so close to the action they can literally feel every tackle, shot, and pass," the EA Sports blog says.

The blog continues, "Immersed into the game's world, FIFA fans experiencing everything that the players feel. Fans are plunged onto the pitch for an in-game view of the action, separated only by a thin television screen while the action also seeps into their environments; if it rains in game, it pours in their loft, and when a player receives a crunching tackle, the FIFA fan takes the impact and falls across the room."

Before the Messi ad was released, a trailer showing realistic celebrations of players was shown.

The FIFA 15 Demo brings fans into the visually stunning field where one can play in Anfield as Liverpool FC, FC Barcelona, Chelsea FC, Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund, S.S.C. Napoli, Manchester City or Boca Juniors.

Anticipating fans are dying to get their hands on the game, and when the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team web app "go live" got delayed, many ranted on Twitter.

FUT is the mobile version of the game, and is now available for download for Android and iOS users.

The latest FIFA 15 trailer covers the addition of concept squads and the scheme of loaning players for the game mode.

Ultimate Team associate producer Marcel Kuhn's voice is heard narrating on the background.

The FIFA 15 release date is scheduled for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC on Sept. 23.

Pre-ordering will get owners up to 40 gold packs that can be used to build dream club in FUT.
