Scott Cawthon's popular survival horror game "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" has another teaser and from fan reactions, it appears this might be the creepiest one yet.

It is a given that fans would be beside themselves with fear after watching the trailer. But aside from that, the trailer has given rise to a lot of intense speculation and debate regarding its storyline. One theory that has been making the rounds is that Purple Freddy and Golden Freddy are the same character.

Recent reports have also picked up on the importance of the animatronic's color. Freddy fans know that the signature top hat and bow tie is purple. But some hardcore fans assume Freddy is yellow.

Interestingly, some expert gamers over at "8-Bit Gaming" put forward a theory regarding where there was a gold version of Freddy. According to the gamers, the animatronic became purple when Fazbear Entertainment took some things from Fredbear's Family Diner. The change in color might have been their way to hide certain violent events that happened in the past. So it would make sense that underneath the purple paint is the gold color.

The sudden interest in perusing the trailer and fans coming up with their own interpretations might be due to a revelation that Cawthon gave several weeks ago, for along with the teaser trailer were the words "something big is coming."

For a lot of fans, this could only mean Nightmare Fredbear, an animatronic that is known for its large frame.

Astute fans have stated that Freddy's latest teaser still pays homage to "Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter," an iconic series that has paved the way for the horror genre. Although, some of the more cynical fans say this is just another one of Clickteam's way to mess with their fans minds.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is rumored to be the final installation of the Freddy series and is slated to come out this Halloween.
