Search engine giant Google will be quite busy in the months to come since it unveiled its latest operating system for Android devices, the Android Nougat. Android phone enthusiasts, on the other hand, are now expecting that the next generation Google Nexus phones known as "Marlin" and "Sailfish" will also be unveiled in the following months.

Android Nougat's fourth and last beta phase has been dished out this month and its final version is now expected to be released together with the new Google Nexus phones most probably next month.

Moreover, the Google Nexus M1, also known as "Marlin," is said to have higher specifications in comparison to its "Sailfish" brother. It's also reported that High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC) has partnered once again with Google to manufacture the M1 variant.

As previously reported, the Google Nexus M1 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset lodged in it for its central processing unit (CPU) and an Adreno 530 processor for its graphics processing unit (GPU). It will sport 4 GB of random access memory (RAM) and it's rumored to be launched in two versions of storage thresholds, which are the 32 GB and the 128 GB versions.

The forthcoming phone will be equipped with the USB Type-C port together with a 12-megapixel back and an 8-megapixel front shooter which is perfect for capturing those selfie shots.

In the meantime, the Nexus S1, or "Sailfish" to some, is rumored to be produced by HTC as well. It will also showcase the same camera specs and RAM but may differ with its CPU and internal storage capacity.

As earlier mentioned, "Sailfish" and "Marlin" will both be pre-installed with the new Android Nougat operating system.

Google Nexus users may check with Google for the latest updates on the upcoming Nexus 2016. However, it is most probable that the phones will be revealed anytime next month.
