Now, it appears that those who have the Chrome browser installed will be able to take advantage of a filter to get rid of any mentions of Trump.

Available on the Chrome web store operated by Google, the Trump Filter promises to "remove Donald Trump from the Internet." According to its description, the extension will search through a web page that mention Trump's name and "erase these instances." The creator of the filter is named Rob Spectre and on his website, aptly named TrumpFilter.com, he stated that he wanted to offer it to people who never wanted to see Trump's name mentioned on the Internet.

Spectre also outlined that he was not making any money from offering the filter and just created it as he felt it was his "patriotic duty." As for how the filter works, users get to exercise a degree of control as there are three level settings for it. The mildest level is fittingly labeled "mild" and it just removes any Tweets that Donald Trump creates on his own Twitter account, while the intermediate "aggressive" level just removes any mentions of his name from web pages. As for the most advanced "vindictive" setting, it is designed to remove all websites that publish stories about Trump.

The Trump Filter launched for Chrome last month and it has been racking up several positive reviews, while the supporters of Trump have been livid. As for the people who have downloaded the filter and tried to use it, some have reported that it works well, while others have complained about it blocking entire sites and removed it.

Finally, it is clear that the creator of the filter, Spectre, is hoping that this attempt to delete Trump's name from the Internet will have a far reaching effect. He even stated on his website that he hopes that it will eventually lead to news organizations and America realizing that everyone has had enough of Trump.
