The rumored October release date of the much awaited GoPro Hero 5 adventure camera has been debunked and new rumors suggest a much delayed launch date.

Earlier this week, Tech News Today reported that the company, GoPro Inc., is finally coming back on track after it experienced a major stock loss over the past three weeks. The reason behind the major drop was allegedly due to the decrease of sales in the Chinese market. This was one of GoPro Inc.'s top ten major revenue contributors.

However, as said on that source, the company is now recovering from that unfortunate loss, as it has since received an increase of 4 percent stock in the pre-market. Unfortunately, this could just be the first bump in the road, as the company still has yet to reveal any new details about their new product, specifically the upcoming GoPro Hero 5.

The October release date of the GoPro Hero 5 could potentially save the company by the fourth quarter of the year, unfortunately, several rumors say that this speculated launch date has recently been debunked. In fact, a new speculation emerged and it claims that the the release date of the GoPro Hero 5 could land sometime in early 2016, according to Vine Report.

GoPro Inc., usually releases a new model on a yearly basis but if this 2016 release date rumor about the GoPro Hero 5 turns out to be accurate, then the fourth quarter of the company might not be as pleasant as they expect. Plus, fans will surely be disappointed, especially after hearing reports after reports of its delay.

However, since there has yet to be a concrete evidence regarding the rumored 2016 release date or an announcement to back up the claims, fans are advised to take it with a pinch of salt for now and patiently wait for the official announcement of the manufacturer.
